Applying to ECU (Non-school leavers)
Semester One
Applications to commence an undergraduate course in Semester One generally need to be submitted to the Tertiary Institutions Service Centre (TISC), however this can depend on the specific entry pathway used.
You should apply through TISC if you:
- Are applying for an undergraduate degree program or University Preparation Course
- Are an Australian or New Zealand citizen or have been approved or granted permanent resident status; and
- Have never previously been enrolled at ECU

You should apply directly to ECU if you:
- Have previously been enrolled at ECU , and provided you are not also applying through TISC for entry to another WA university for the same period; or
- Have previously been enrolled at ECU and now wish to resume that course. You will need to complete an Application to Resume a Course; or
- Were offered a place at ECU in the previous year but deferred the offer - provided you are not also applying through TISC for entry to another WA university in the same period.

Please note:
- Prospective permanent residents are not eligible to apply through TISC until permanent residence status has been approved or granted. For further information, please visit the ECU International website
- Applicants for courses at WAAPA should contact the WAAPA Admissions Office to confirm whether a TISC application is required.
Portfolio Pathway Applications
Non-school leavers can apply directly to ECU, submitting both their Application for Admission and Portfolio.
Semester Two
Applications to commence an undergraduate course or University Preparation Course in Semester Two can be made directly to the University.
Not all ECU courses are available for mid year commencement, please refer to the mid year entry page for information on course availability.
