Advanced standing

If you are applying for an undergraduate course and have completed previous study at either:

Tertiary level; or
Registered Training Organisation (RTO) - Diploma level or above; or
Equivalent experience and/or qualifications

You may be eligible for advanced standing. Advanced standing can be given as credit, for previous studies, or recognition of prior learning, for professional experience.

No advanced standing will be granted for secondary school or RTO certificate level study.

If you are eligible for advanced standing you will either:

Receive exemptions from units of study/credit points within your course; or
Receive substitutions to enable you to study alternative subjects
