The UPC is designed for school leavers or mature age students who do not meet the minimum entry requirements for ECU's degree programs or for those who require a smoother transition after being away from study for a number of years.
It prepares students for university level study by giving them the required skills and confidence for academic success.
Units taken over six months full-time or twelve months part- time, cover learning at university, research and writing processes, numeracy skills and accessing knowledge.
In previous years, the UPC has been a fee paying course but from 2007, it will be a Commonwealth Supported course with no upfront fees.
Applications are now open and can be made through TISC. To see if the UPC is the best pathway for you or for more information, contact Student Recruitment on (61 8) 6304 6304 or click here.
