Want to earn $4000 per year to study at university

At Edith Cowan University, real life experience counts towards admission into many of our graduate certificate and diploma programs. We offer a range of opportunities for professionally qualified people without tertiary qualifications that few universities can match.

Research shows postgraduates are more likely to get a boost in position and pay. So if you want to advance your career, talk to ECU about our easy, flexible postgraduate award options.

Applications for 2006 are now open. Search our Course and Career Finder to find a course suitable for you or call Student Recruitment on (61 8) 6304 6304 to discuss your options.

A great opportunity exists to be part of the committed and successful team at St John Ambulance WA working in a varied, inspiring and rewarding environment. The job will require you to respond quickly and efficiently, provide ambulance care for the sick and injured, and transport patients whilst constantly monitoring their condition.

You must be prepared to successfully complete a Bachelor of Science (Paramedical Science) through Edith Cowan University. The course will consist of an unpaid study component (one year full-time or two years part-time), followed by two years paid employment (on the job training and study) and a one year internship.

To obtain an information package, application and medical forms and selection criteria, visit www.ambulance.net.au or call (08) 9334 1461. Applications and supporting documentation must be received by 4.30pm on Wednesday 30 November 2005. Early submissions are encouraged.

Just by breaking the mould and thinking outside the box, Colin Svanberg has scored himself a stunning retro-styled Vmoto Milan Jx50 by winning ECU's ‘Break the Mould' scooter competition.

Colin impressed the judges and proved himself to be a true mould breaker with his winning entry: “Instead of lining up for hours for Eagles preliminary footy final tickets in Perth , I broke the mould and went to Bunbury to get mine!”

Thank you to the hundreds of people who entered. A big congratulations also to our runner ups, Simon Macintyre and Anthony Real who each won a double pass to Rock-iT.
