Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts (WAAPA) graduate Hugh Jackman is bringing The Boy From Oz to Perth's Burswood Dome in September.
Hugh graduated from our theatre course in 1994. In 2003, he began playing singer/songwriter Peter Allen in the Broadway production of the play The Boy From Oz. Jackman won the 2004 Tony Award as Best Actor in a Musical for this role.

| Are you ready for the most amazing summer ever? Reckon you could show youngsters aged 6-16 years how to have fun at camp in a huge range of sport, recreational or leisure activities?
Applications are open until April 2007 for Camp America's nine-week summer camp program in the US. Each year, around 10,000 people from 40 countries participate in this great international opportunity. Places are available in over 100 different activity areas.
Applicants need to be at least 18 years of age by the time of departure in June 2007, have no criminal record, be calm, energetic, flexible and have a genuine desire to work with kids.
As a counsellor to American youngsters, you'll be employed to teach them new skills, share experiences and cultures as well as providing overall supervision. So get ready for an incredible American summer!

Are you a second or third year science undergraduate? You can get hands-on research experience working on your own project through the Summer Studentship Program.
Students can do a CSIRO Plant Industry Summer Studentship, run in collaboration with The Australian Pastoral Research Trust and the Grains Research and Development Corporation, or a Summer Studentship with the Centre for Plant Biodiversity Research.
