| If you are 20 years or over and wanting to start studying at ECU in July this year, you may need to sit the Special Tertiary Admissions Test (STAT) on Saturday 7 or 21 May.
The STAT is designed to provide an avenue for entry to University for those who do not have the formal entry requirements. If you are applying for mid-year entry in 2005, you must be at least 20 years of age before 1 August 2005 to sit the STAT test. You cannot sit STAT more than once in the same STAT year, i.e. you cannot sit twice between 1 May 2005 and 30 April 2006, even if you sat STAT in a different state.
For those who cannot sit the test on Saturdays for religious or work reasons, a special session is being held on Friday 20 May. Later testing sessions are available for 2006 course admissions.
Enrolments for sitting the test can be made by completing a STAT booking form and submitting it to the Tertiary Institutions Service Centre (TISC).
To get your STAT booking form, telephone TISC on (61 8) 9318 8000 during office hours or download it from the TISC website.
For further information about STAT, please click here. |
